Little Maestros Musicianship Classes
Here at Aura, we believe that there are countless benefits to exposing children to music at a young age, including sparking creativity, improving coordination and concentration as well as building confidence and communication – plus it is fun! That is why we provide opportunities for our early learners to love music too. These classes are ideal for our younger students (4-6 years) who are maybe a little too young to start 1:1 lessons but are interested in the wonderful world of music making!
While 1:1 instrumental lessons may not be appropriate for younger children, our Little Maestros classes are a great introduction to music and the benefits it has. These classes provide an introduction to a wide range of instruments as well as general musicianship skills with expert tutors who are specially experienced in working with young learners. We run weekly group Little Maestro classes as well as shorter 20 minute 1:1 lessons for more tailored learning, all in an encouraging and fun environment – ideal for exploring music for the first time.
Little Maestros 4-6 years old
These classes are specially designed to introduce music in a fun and exciting way and to get your child to love music! Our students learn a wide range of basic aural, rhythm and note reading skills whilst playing exciting games, learning new songs and overall building a love for music. As always, we ensure that class sizes reach a maximum of 6 students to ensure individualistic learning. Students usually undertake 6-12 months of Little Maestros lessons before advancing onto either our 1:1 or group instrumental lessons.
