Located in the heart of Altrincham and recently expanded to Wilmslow Town Centre, Aura Music Academy is an exciting and innovative music education centre dedicated to making music accessible to everyone. Our mission is to provide expert tuition in a supportive and engaging environment, fostering a lifelong love of music.
Bethany Dullea, our Director, has played the piano since the age of five, and her personal journey with music has profoundly shaped her life. Understanding the transformative power of music, she envisioned a school that would offer fun, high-quality music education to students of all ages.
While studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, Bethany’s dream of creating an accessible music school came to life, leading to the founding of Aura Music Academy. With her commitment to expert tuition and an encouraging atmosphere, Bethany strives to inspire each student to explore their musical potential.
Founded in 2016 in the heart of Altrincham, Aura Music Academy began with just four studios offering one-on-one individual lessons. Our innovative and engaging approach to music education quickly resonated with the community, leading to an overwhelming response that saw us fully booked within just a year.
To meet the rising demand, we expanded in 2019, adding three more floors of purpose-built studios dedicated to teaching and rehearsal. This expansion allowed us to enhance our offerings, introducing a brand new timetable in 2021 that includes more instruments, group lessons, space for band practices, and even a recording studio!
In October 2022, we proudly opened our second location in Wilmslow Town Centre, bringing our expert music tuition to a wider audience in Cheshire. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: to provide high-quality, accessible music education that inspires and nurtures every student.
At Aura Music Academy, our tutors are not only highly qualified in music tuition but also accomplished performers in their own right. Each tutor holds a minimum of a Bachelor Degree and is DBS checked, ensuring a safe and professional learning environment.
We offer a diverse range of music lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. From one-on-one individual tuition to group sessions and band rehearsals, our tutors’ teaching approach allows students to thrive, whether they are beginners or advanced musicians. Our dedicated team is committed to fostering a love for music and helping students achieve their personal musical goals.
