Instrument Rental at Aura Music
So you’re interested in learning but aren’t sure if you want to commit to purchasing an instrument?
If you’re going to give learning an instrument a go, it’s really important that you have something to practise on at home. However, we appreciate that some students are unsure about committing to purchasing an instrument straight away, especially if you have not yet had the chance to take your first lesson and see if you like it!
We’re here to help with instruments available to hire from only £8 per month so that you can get started without the risk, inconvenience and cost of purchasing an instrument.
Hiring Fees for our instruments
Our hiring fees will depend on the instrument you choose, however below is an example of some of our instrument hire charges.
What happens after the initial month’s rental?
After your first month of rental and lessons, we hope that you’ll be in a better position to decide what you’d like to do going forward. There are 3 choices:
1) Return the instrument and we will refund you your deposit (minus any deductions for damage if applicable – we appreciate that there will be the odd scratch and mark on your instrument so we won’t charge for general wear and tear within reason).
2) Continue hiring on a monthly rolling basis at £8 per month.
3) You can keep your instrument in lieu of your deposit and a small additional charge (we’ll be able to calculate this for you – just get in touch with us). If the instrument you hired was not a new model, we’ll be happy to exchange this for a brand new instrument at no extra charge to you (this may take a couple of weeks if we don’t have any in stock).
Please note that all students/parents will be required to sign a rental agreement before the rental can begin.
