Our brand new online student portal!
We’re very excited to introduce all of our students to our new online student portal which we’ve created via our partnership with My Music Staff.
The Student Portal allows our students to:
- View your calendar of upcoming lessons, concerts and events.
- View your attendance
- View all of your online lesson notes
- Track your practice time, take notes and email your teacher
- View your email history
- View your number of make-up credits (if you need to reschedule a lesson)
- View your teacher(s) contact information
- Keep up-to-date with studio news
You’ll be emailed this week with information on how to log into your student portal – please keep an look out for this email in your inbox.
Once you recieve your email, please follow the link to set up you/your child’s password for their portal. Once logged in, you’ll be able to see this page:
You can see your lesson attendance, your practice hours and your recent lesson notes which will be uploaded by your tutor at the end of each lesson.
In your calendar, you’ll be able to view all of your upcoming lessons and any extra events such as mock exams, concerts or community events. In your repertoire section, your tutor will upload any relevant resources such as rhythm/theory worksheets.
In the ‘contact info’ section, you can update your contact info and check that the info we have for you is up to date and correct. If its not, please edit it with the correct contact information.
Now, the section we’re most excited about it the ‘Practice Log’! On here, you can easily log all of your practice sessions and you can even write notes to your tutor about each practice session. At the end of each week, you’ll be able to see how much you’ve practiced and you’ll also be able to compare it to other weeks.
We’re very excited about this new feature to our music lessons and are looking forward to hearing how you all get on with it.
